We do not require traditional user accounts, emails, passwords, or phone numbers.

User identity and interaction are primarily handled via:

• blockchain wallets

• public on-chain data

• optional Proof-of-Humanity (PoH) verification

2. Information We Collect

A. Blockchain & Wallet Data (Public)

When you connect a wallet, we may process:

• Public wallet address

• Public on-chain actions (follows, kudos, votes, reactions)

• Transaction hashes and block numbers

• Smart-contract interaction metadata

This information is public by nature and stored on the blockchain.

B. Proof-of-Humanity (PoH) Verification

To prevent bots and abuse, the App may check Proof-of-Humanity status using Linea-approved PoH verification services.

Important:

• We do not collect or store your identity documents

• We only receive a boolean verification result (e.g., human / not human)

• Identity verification is handled entirely by third-party providers

C. Optional Profile Information (User-Provided)

If you choose to create or edit a profile, you may optionally provide:

• Display name

• Bio

• Avatar image

• Public links (e.g., website, social links)

This information is:

• optional

• publicly visible

• editable only by the wallet owner

D. App Usage & Technical Data (Minimal)

We may collect limited technical data for reliability and security, such as:

• Basic request logs

• API health metrics

• Anonymous usage counts

We do not use invasive analytics or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Display public profiles and social graphs

• Enforce Proof-of-Humanity rules

• Prevent abuse and spam

• Compute public stats and leaderboards

• Maintain app functionality and security

We do not sell or rent user data.

4. Data Storage & Indexing

• On-chain actions remain permanently on the blockchain

• Off-chain indexers may cache public on-chain data for faster reads

• Optional profile data may be stored in a simple, non-custodial database or static storage

No private keys or sensitive credentials are ever stored.

5. Cookies & Tracking

SentinelCircles does not use:

• advertising cookies

• cross-site tracking

• fingerprinting

• third-party ad trackers

Local browser storage may be used for:

• UI preferences

• cached app settings

6. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party services including:

• Blockchain networks and RPC providers

• Proof-of-Humanity verification providers

• Hosting providers (e.g., Netlify)

These services operate independently and have their own privacy policies.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties except:

• when required to operate the App

• when legally required

• when interacting with public blockchain infrastructure

Public blockchain data is inherently visible to anyone.

8. User Control & Rights

You control your data by controlling your wallet.

You may:

• disconnect your wallet at any time

• stop interacting with the App

• update or remove optional profile data

On-chain actions cannot be altered or deleted once confirmed.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect:

• off-chain services

• public profile infrastructure

• indexing systems

However, no system is completely risk-free.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children.
Users must comply with applicable laws and verification requirements in their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Updates will be posted within the App or on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
